Plas Bach

This typical Welsh cottage is in an idyllic location, just 200 yards from the waters edge of Cymyran Straits, which separates Anglesey from Holy Island, in its own very private location set within 5 acres of land consisting of small paddocks with cut lawns to front and rear. The property is reached over a rugged track and then across the occasionally tidal foreshore. Just a few minutes walk and beyond the tidal foreshore are sandy beaches, ideal for swimming, fishing, sailing or sailboarding, access to rockpools and shoreline for shrimping and prawning. Surrounding the property is open farmland providing some fine walks along public footpaths.

The cottage originally dates back to the 18th century and has been tastefully renovated, is on two levels, very well equipped and furnished as a high quality second home, heating if required is by means of electric panel heaters, there is an inglenook in the lounge with an inset wood burning stove.

The lounge is also provided with a colour television, Dvd, video recorder, radio/cassette and a comfortable sitting area. Leading from the lounge are the twin and single bedrooms together with a raised level sun room, also a large well equipped fitted kitchen with extensive floor and wall cupboard storage, a family kitchen dining table and chairs, microwave oven, fridge/freezer, auto washing machine and dishwasher.

The cottage has three bedrooms, a double, twin and a single, all beds have electric under blankets and normal over blankets, bed linen not provided.

Cymyran Straits divides Anglesey from Holyhead island, whose coastline has many interesting features to explore and visit. The ferry port at Holyhead offers the opportunity for a day visit to Ireland on the Hi Speed service which takes approximately 90 minutes.
About 2Km away is RAF Valley with its viewing areas to observe the Hawk training aircraft practising their manoeuvres, and the occasional training visit from the Red Arrows can be viewed from Plas Bach. There is ample parking for cars and boats. Sorry no pets.
